i'm beginning to neglect this thing again. it's a bad habit to neglect it, but at the same time, i'm busy enough to where i forget about it.

vicious cycle.

i've started "the devil wears prada". i have to admit, the book is fairly good, no wonder it's a bestseller.

i also bought two CDs off the amazon marketplace, "while lilies islands" by natalie imbruglia and "comfort in sound" by feeder. both have far surpassed my expectations, but i'm still obsessively listening to yellowcard.

their concert is this friday, i'm so hyped. i sort of want to make a list of things to do, and just cross them out one by one. this would be one of them: "going to a paying concert for the first time with a band that you genuinely love".

i've spent somewhere in the vicinity of 300 dollars this quarter for books.
i've tried to get used books where i can, because the information in them is the same, used or not.
however, the chinese films class i'm in doesn't have any used copies ANYWHERE because they're sort of hard to find, so all of them are brand new at 25 dollars a pop.
two words to describe this situation:
fucking suck.

i watched "supersize me" today, since it was a fairly slow day. it was a good documentary, but i'm not about to buy it. i don't really want to comment about it, or give details. it's one of those things that you just want to say "i've seen it", and that's it.

i've been following college football relatively closely for once.
Cal @ USC was today, and once again, USC is going all wins and no losses.
I've also been following Purdue really closesly, they're 5 and 0. Impressive.
Makes me wonder if I should've gone there for college, lol. I was thinking about it, that's for sure.

the fraternity has been going full force since i've been back. i enjoy the hecticness of it all. it's sometimes fun to be stressed out, going all out day in day out for a week or two. i complain about it, but i just wouldn't have it any other way.

andrew still needs to get the a-wires that he has into my possession, dammit.

things to do:

find a house for next quarter. lease ends this december.
take my car in for maintenence. it's past 10,000 miles.
buy love actually. i really want to watch it.
watch mean girls. when your friend has it, and everyone's fighting for the dvd, you go and watch it with everyone else.
