i just saw tomb raider: cradle of life, and i can honestly say...a couple of things

1) this movie makes no sense. it's a series of events weakly linked together and desperately bound together by a hot woman. (Angelina Jolie.) this is pretty much the same as charlie's angels: full throttle which is a series of events weakly linked together and desperately bound together by hot women (cameron diaz, drew barrymore, lucy liu).

2) this movie is all hype, all action, and not much else. they have to toss in the dual guns, the action sequences, but also the long lost love and the stupid sex cheesiness. the last time i checked, lara croft didn't have relationships in any of the video games.


in contrast, i watched the last samurai a couple of days ago.

aside from the fact that an outsider managed to master the art of the katana in 4 months...the movie was fantastically made and well put together.

in my opinion, it's good enough to buy...

but in any case...tired, and sleepy. so i bid thee well and good night!
