you know you're having an interesting day when:

you pick up your dog, bring him eye level and say, "good morning!"

and he licks you.

except he misses and he sticks his tongue in your mouth.

so i woke up this morning to find out that my dad's some kind of evil random diabolical genius.

well, his company makes a program that tracks all traffic on a single network.

by all traffic, i mean all traffic. that's all i'm really going to say since i don't want to be blamed for the downfall of his company. you guys can put it together.

then my parents and i went to todai's. i ate so much raw fish that i swear it was coming out of my pores. or something. or other.

after, i did random errands and shopping...

a) went to target. returned a shark steam blaster. as seen on tv. i wish my mother would not buy stupid shit anymore!!
b) went to costco to return some teflon coated "stain-free" pants that apparently had a stain on them. before i wore it.
c) went to the great mall. went on a shopping spree @ the reebok outlet since i had a 40% off coupon. i'm sitting here in a pair of white mesh shorts, with a pair of red and black mesh shorts sitting behind me. the shorts were 7 bucks each. and then on the price tag it says "Orig. Price: 22.00". 3 pairs of shorts, for less than the original price of ONE pair of shorts. how sweet is that?!

which reminds me...the other day, i went to macy's since my mom found a 15% off coupon. doesn't sound like much right?

well, i got 4 Alfani shirts that started at 28 dollars each. then it was discounted 50% off, so it turned into 14 bucks. Then it was discounted another 35% and it turne d into 9.10. and then on top of that, there was another 15% off, making it 7.74 for each shirt.

how about the sleeveless tommy sport shirts that i got? let's see....35 bucks in the beginning, 50% off making it 17.50 and then another 35% off, which brings it to 11.37 and then another 15% off, so....9.66? and then the cash register guy MESSED UP, and ended up giving me an additional 2 dollars off the shirt, so i got two of them for 7.66 each.

i got 6 shirts in a matter of minutes, spending less than 50 dollars total.

winner!

anyway, it's sealed. i'm getting the family guy vol 1, and vol 2 when it comes out. wenchin already went and got her set, i'm hella going to go pick up mine.

soon.

it's only a matter of time.

today was a long and hectic day. let's try to make it relatively short and coherent...

woke up at 9 to take the dog to the vet. got back at 1050.
stayed around, ate lunch, watched spirited away, and finished at 120.
left my house at 130 to pick up wenchin, rachel and jason.
went to the bart and barted up to berkeley where we took a small break at wenchin's apartment and then walked to jeanne/ming/heidi/helen's place after we joined up with lisa.
we collected money for sushi house, and then went off to the rose garden.
rose garden was only being occupied by a wedding reception.
we hung out with some pasta, fruit salad, and food while we waited for jeanne to get to the park...
jeanne was pretty surprised...she did have her suspicions when bryan called ming and said "hi, it's bryan." of course, this was after bryan said that he was calling his mom.
jason and i got glomped when the simpson's dvd sets came out of the paper bag. yes, winner!! gary needs to get glomped too.
we then watched the sun go down from the top of the rose garden, which was pretty cool. as scott put it, it's like "the fires of mount doom!"
then we returned some stuff to jeanne/ming/heidi/helen's place, and then with connie, set out to soda hall to help her with HKN fliers.

the most interesting moment had to be when we (me, wen, connie, rachel and jason ) went into Cory Hall, and went to the basement/first floor, and we were walking around and conversation went:

me: it's awfully lonely and scary in here...
wen: yeah....there's nobody here...
connie: yeah...
rachel: it's like something out of a high school horror slasher flick...
wen: *makes squealy noises*
/me turns around.
me: uhh....where's jason?
wen: oh my god! he's picking us off one by one!!

and then we all shared in a good laugh...when jason appeared from around the corner

i guess it's probably not as funny to the readers, but it was damn funny to us. maybe it was a "you had to be there" moment.

well, i'm sleepy, tired, and have stuff to do tomorrow...so shut-eye it is!
