i was watching MTV's True Life: I'm Shipping Out just now...and there was a really funny comment a US Army Soldier made...
he was training and he had to dive behind a cardboard box that was "acting as a bush".
his superior said: that cardboard box is our bush.
the soldier said: don't we have like a 3 trillion dollar defense budget? all we get is the piece of shit box?
his superior said: ha! we paid 479 dollars for the cardboard box!
the soldier said: sir yes sir! i'll respect the 479 dollar cardboard box!

and another one...where two soldiers are on the gun range, and a soldier said:
we're marines. if an enemy pops up his head from far away, and you miss, and he gets around and actually fires a shot at you...there's only one reason. you suck.

i had a weird dream. i'll spare you the sordid details, but the thing about the dream is that i couldn't kick my enemy as hard as i could while he was on the ground.
i could kick him, but i'd never kick him with the force that i wanted to.
